Jamaican Jerk

Get the flava of the island, with this spicy, hot jerk.


Serves: 2-3  

Prep Time: 20 minutes Cooking Time: 15 minutes  

You will need:   

Jamaican Jerk Recipe Kit   

450g chicken   

150g uncooked rice  

What to do:   

1) Pre-heat the oven to 220°C  

2) Slice the chicken into 1 inch strips  

3) In a bowl, rub the jerk seasoning into the chicken, pour over the jerk marinade and leave for 20 minutes or longer  

4) Place the rice, 400ml of water and the rice seasoning in a saucepan. Bring to the boil, cover and then simmer for 10-15 minutes  

5) Place the chicken onto a lined baking tray and cook for 15 minutes or until cooked

6) Serve with the rice   

Levi’s Tip: Squeeze a lime wedge over the finished dish for some extra freshness and zestiness
